When properly maintained, these systems continue to deliver analytical performance comparable to many modern spectrometers, making them a reliable and cost-effective solution for long-term laboratory operation.

Meet the Founder

RcSoft was developed by Raymond Chew, a service engineer with more than 40 years of experience in Optical Emission Spectrometry systems, including extensive work with LECO Corporation, Shimadzu Corporation, and Thermo Fisher Scientific instrumentation across industrial and laboratory environments.

Through decades of direct industry support, Raymond identified a persistent challenge faced by laboratories operating ARL 2460 and ARL 3460 spectrometers. The legacy WinOE software used with these systems has become outdated and unsupported, creating a significant risk to production continuity.

RcSoft was developed to address these challenges. Designed with both technical capability and operational simplicity in mind, RcSoft provides laboratories with a cost-effective modernisation pathway while allowing continued use of existing hardware without modification.

The development of RcSoft reflects Raymond’s extensive technical experience and long-standing commitment to supporting laboratories with reliable, cost-effective solutions that enhance operational continuity, analytical efficiency, and confidence in day-to-day laboratory operations.
